One of our favorite spots has become a frequent stop for us as we were back out at Mt. Woodson for Jordan + Joshua’s garden wedding! These two have a funny + heartwarming story, and I’ll quote from what Jordan told me about their meeting ::

“Life is certainly one giant adventure, and our adventure began the year we met in 2010. We were next door neighbors living alone for our first time. We had crossed paths a few times with a simple passing hello but it wasn’t until months later when we formally met. I went to his apartment on a Friday night to say hello. Josh was hanging out with his friend Derek playing video games and he happily welcomed me in.

Our relationship strengthened as we hung out together at our apartments or Josh would invite me to get together with his friends. By the time 2012 hit, Josh decided to take a job in New York City and we decided to try long distance. This took a great deal of effort and put us through many tests. A year and a half later, I was asleep when Josh called me and told me he was going home from a job when all of a sudden my doorbell rang. I thought it was my friend Ryan who had gone out with friends and forgot his keys but when I opened the door, I was incredibly surprised. Josh had flown in from NYC. The next day, he took me on a hike and proposed to me, and of course I said yes…”
