Christian + Carey met through Carey’s cousin Jessmy. It was quick love meeting only a year ago, but knew from the start that they were meant to be together. Christian’s style for the wedding was almost entirely DIY. It was very vintage/old-fashioned/rustic style with influence from a New Orleans jazz club during prohibition. Their decor was a muted ivory and antique pink, with burlap textures, fedora hats for the gents, and their three nephews dressed like old school paperboys! The food had a heavy French influence and they also had an artist painting the scene (a la Renoir’s Boating Party) which turned out amazing. We found some great spots in La Jolla and Del Mar to help complete the vintage theme with their images…which turned out to be so beautiful and romantic…and some of our favorites for the year!
