Carrie + Jon’s love and humor are so infectous…we instantly hit it off with them. We just loved their story and wanted to share in Carrie’s own words…

“We met on eHarmony!! We communicated online for a few weeks before meeting in person.  For the first three months of our dating relationship Jon wanted to call me his girlfriend, but I wasn’t quite ready. I made the poor guy wait for three months! 🙂 We spent Memorial Day weekend in Santa Barbara in wine country, and at one of the wineries we sat down outside with a glass of wine and I passed him a card with a pen. He opened the card and it said “Will you be my boyfriend? Check yes or no”. Luckily he said yes! And that was the weekend we really fell in love. Now when we hear the song “Waitin’ on a Woman” by Brad Paisley we always laugh about how I made Jon wait for me. :)…Our engagement weekend we were already headed to Malibu to race in the Malibu Olympic Distance Triathlon. He proposed on the beach the night before the race, and then we headed to dinner where my parents, his parents and his brother were waiting! He had arranged for my parents to fly in from Iowa to surprise me! It was amazing and I cried. A lot. :)…”

We’re grateful that we got to be a part of their special day and had a great time with them, their family, and friends…
