Spring is one of my favorite times to shoot in San Diego. It’s the greenest time of year, and we get those beautiful yellow wildflowers everywhere! They turned out to to be THE perfect setting for this maternity + family shoot. Kim is a fellow photographer so I was honored that she asked me to photograph her baby bump and her lovely family. She scouted this Carlsbad location close to her home that we headed out to after some beautiful black + whites at her home…

We were so excited to work with Marissa + John again for their wedding! After shooting their e-session at the Mission and downtown San Juan Capistrano we completely hit it off and they are wonderful to be around. The wedding was such a great mix of casual, elegant, vintage, color, and lots moments that included tears (during those great speeches) and great laughs. We were able to take advantage and do some beachfront images down by the Ocean Institute and they had an outstanding view at Cannon’s of the Dana Point marina and coastline…

Dagna + Kyle both have a love for old Hollywood glam, historical buildings, dark swanky bars, old books + literature, and military history. We wanted to capture that classic romantic 50′s look that they embody, so the Turf Club and El Camino were our perfect backdrops for their e-session a few weeks ago. We had so much fun with the old cars and props that added so much style to their shoot, and got some great mexican food afterwards. We’re really looking forward to their upcoming wedding in June!
